HSRP Detault Password

Can somebody please let me know how can we change the default HSRP password in switches.

to change the password /authentication string in HSRP messages, issue the following command under the interface

standby x authentication yyyyyy

where x = group number and y the password

there is no default password set you can configure one with the command

standby group authentication pwd

initially there is a value set in the authentication field which can be seen as an 'initial default password'. But as it's a default password and always the same which doesn't show up in the running config it can be interpreted as no password.
