Hi
We are facing HSRP flap in between x-connect of router , Physical Leg is passed via Switch & from switch side STP convergence & CPU utilization is fine in Switch
We are using below OS & ASR version.
System image file is "bootflash:asr1000rp1-adventerprisek9.03.01.03.S.150-1.S3.bin"
cisco ASR1002 (2RU) processor with 1717348K/6147K bytes of memory.
HSRP config
Router 1
interface GigabitEthernet0/0/3.870
no ip redirects
no ip unreachables
no ip proxy-arp
ip flow ingress
ip flow egress
standby 0 ip ******
standby 0 timers msec 200 msec 750
standby 0 priority 105
standby 0 preempt delay minimum 600 reload 600
end
Router 2
interface GigabitEthernet0/0/3.870
no ip redirects
no ip unreachables
no ip proxy-arp
ip flow ingress
ip flow egress
standby 0 ip IP address
standby 0 timers msec 200 msec 750
standby 0 preempt delay minimum 600 reload 600
Pls confirm whether this HSRP timer / OS version / ASR code is suceptible of any Bug behaviour

Don't exactly know what kind of business is this involved but I find the timers defined very aggressive.
I would try 500 msec with 1200 and also check any interface of any kind of error.

Hi
Agree we are using agressive timer, but same kind of setup is running in all location but in only 1 location we are facing this issue
Switch CPU,memory is fine & STP convergence is also fine for the problematic vlan

Hi,
I would agreed with the previous comment, the timers are very low and if for some reason the hello is missed you may see the flap. I will also check the CPU utilization and the physical interface for any drops or input/CRC errors.
