Hey everyone! I have occasionally run into an issue with the IE-4010-16S12P switch model regarding removing/replacing the current UN/PW set on said device from previous work. When conducting either a wipe of a device coming in from the field or a full factory reset, sometimes the device will retain an already set UN/PW despite my best efforts to establish and new UN/PW or reset the device to factory defaults. I have tried removing all configuration and backup configuration files from the flash (+ wr erase), I have tried to set a new UN/PW (both with saving and not saving the new configuration), and I have even removed every removable file on the device by force (/force /recursive) and then manually add back on the necessary files to have the switch run. . . yet the previously established UN/PW remains.
Is there something that I am missing? Is there anywhere else that could be storing the UN/PW that I need to address? Something else? I simply do not know what to do beyond replacing the switch under warranty and/or swapping in a new switch.
