Designing a network for a client and trying to determine how many IE 5000 needed for the job. Does the SPF ports using copper plugs provide POE?

I do not believe that works.

Only Onboard copper ports will give PoE capability.

No one has invented an SFP that can do PoE.

The workaround is to have a copper SFP and then have a Power Injector in the middle.
