IE1000 TACACS v1.9

Hi Guys,

Any ideas of how to configure aaa and TACACS authentication on a IE1000 v1.9 switch?

Only option it allows is to configure the servers, but when you check the running config in the cli, there is no aaa configured and no way to configure it.

There was an issue with version 1.6 of the firmware which didn't support AAA/TACACS, but this was corrected in version 1.7:

You stated that the firmware version your switches are running is 1.9. There are several versions of firmware 1.9. Try upgrading to the latest version, 1.9.4, and try configuring AAA/TACACS again. The functionality should be there according to Cisco documentation.
