i have SRW 208P and these are connected with 2950 and on syslog server i am getting these typ of message how can i controle

%IGMPHOST-D-IP: IGMP Packet with unknown source IP^M

Hi,

The error says igmp packet is from unkown source ip !!

Is multicasting is configured in your switches.

I have the same issue,

I have one SRW2016, three SRW224G4 and two SRW224G4P, and two 3COM Superstack 3.

In SRW2016, log says: IGMPHOST-D-IP: Illegal IGMP Packet with no IP alert option

and in two of SRW224G4 : IGMPHOST-W-IP: Illegal IGMP Packet with no IP alert option

How can I block multicast packet?

How can I resolve these issue
