I have a flat network and every thing is in vlan 1, the network is subnet already, no trunking to core switch. The company will replace there core switch with 5 3750E stack switches. I was wondering do the other switches in the stack need to be configured beside the master switch and do the fiber port on each stack switch need to be trunk.

First connect up your core stack switches physically and power it all on. Check to see which one is master (sh ver). Console into master and configure. Fiber port need to be trunk only if you plan to have multiple vlan's travelling through those ports. If you only use vlan1 then no need.
