I have a very strange behaviour on my new LAN infrastructure.
Previously I have 2950 switches where industrial devices were connected.
I migrate to 2960-X, link and protocol comes UP, but impossible to ping the industrial devices from core, whereas PC on same vlan/same switch is OK.
I use to hear that old industrial equipments have strange comportment with new gigabit switches.
Config is very basic :
Old 2950 config was :
switchport mode access
switchport access vlan x
New 2690X is the same.
Devices in auto-negociation comes in 100 half, (not gigabit capable), and I tried every combination possible (10 half, 100 full, etc..)
Do you have any troubleshooting tips ?
