I'd like someone to clarify this for me.
A. Catalyst 3750 switch port (from perspective of client plugged in a switchport):
A1) inbound traffic = ingress traffic = upload?
A2) outbound traffic = egress traffic = download?
B. Catalyst 3750 switch port:
B1) srr-queue bandwidth limit 20 limits download speed?
B2) srr-queue bandwidth limit 20 does policing or shaping?
C. Catalyst 6500 Bidirectional User-Based Rate-Limiting:
C1) is the meaning of inbound and outbound traffic same as for 3750's switchport or the other way around?
C2) ACL: permit ip 10.0.0.1 0.0.0.255 any and police flow mask src-only will limit upload speed?
D. Burst:
D1) normal burst size represents number of bytes (above a limit) which will be transmitted without being policed or shaped?
E. 3750 has two ingress queues and four egress:
E1) when a client is downloading data (we only focus on data coming to a client from internet), only egress queues are used but not ingress?
