Hi everybody.

When an half-duplex mode sends a frame, it loops it to its receiver to detect any collision.  My question is :Will it cause half-duplex host to increase its input counter of its port ?

thanks and have a great day

Half duplex will increase the input counter (CRC) of the REMOTE end port.

I take that back.  I take that back.

If you use the command "sh contr e " Half duplex mismatch errors will appear (locally) in the Transmit column under various sections of "collisions".  It will also appear in the remote end port under the heading "FCS" or "Symbols".
