Hi guys, happy new year.
I have this question. we have bought a couple of nexus 3064 to use with server's lan traffic. But i can use these switches for inter-vlan routing on VPC channel? there are some downsides?
thanks

Yes you can use them for inter-vlan routing and with vpc placement would provide a good resiliency topology

Hi,
Just one more info:
Comparing with the stacking approach, you cannot have a single control plane. And you, you may need to running HSRP/VRRP on each SVI.

Hi, thanks you already answered my second question. Reletad to vrrp i have this doubt, i will install a third nexus 3064 on distaster recovery room. Can i add this switch to vrrp interface and set it with lower priority? i think yes but i never used nexus before.
thanks

No you wont be able to as the nexus pair will be in a vpc domain and as such you cannot have a 3rd nexus join a vpc pair, but there is nothing prohibiting you to connect the 3rd nexus between the vpc pair

i know that i can use only 2 switch for vpc. I talk about ip address of svi on third switch
es.
vrpp ip address vlan 10 10.39.1.1
ip address vlan 10 first switch 10.39.1.2
ip address vlan 10 second switch 10.39.1.3
ip address vlan 10 third switch 10.39.1.4
i know that i must replicate the vlan and acl configuration on all nexus

Hello
I see what you pertaining to as the nexus pair would act as one logical device with and the 3rd acting as the other FHRP device but why would you want to the nexus pair would provide adequate resiliency

because 2 switches are in the same room with server and in case of disaster situation (example fire) i will restart the server on disaster recovery location but i also need a switch that can do inter-vlan routing
