We need to connect San switch in different DC
Since we have interconnectivity between DC through Cisco nexus core switch can we connect San switch eport to Cisco core switch on access port and span it across DC.

Hello @mustanfakh
Do you have checked if there is sufficient bandwidth and low latency between the data centers to support the SAN traffic.

Thank you responding
We have bandwidth of 20 gig as port channel and latency is 2 ms
If this is sufficient what should be the next step.

OK @mustanfakh
Are you sure that 2 ms latency meets your application's performance requirements...the most critical in terms of latency ?
For interconnecting SAN switches across different DC, it's advisable to use dedicated links with appropriate configurations, such as long-distance Fibre Channel links or Fibre Channel over IP (FCIP) for extended distances. Directly connecting a SAN switch to a core switch on an access port might not provide the required functionality and could lead to issues with the Fibre Channel fabric.
