I was wondering what is the diffrence

between 10G X2 and 10G Xenpack and is it possible to interconnect

WS-X4606-X2-ECatalyst 4500 E-Series 6-Port 10GbE (X2)  to a 

WS-X6704-10GE= Cat6500 4-port 10 Gigabit Ethernet Module

eventhough the connector options are diffrent?
