Interface Configuration

Hello Everyone I have 4500-x with all 10g interfaces and ASR1001-X with 1g interface and i have connectivity between them so how can i communicate these two different interfaces so that there will be communication between them any help please?

if they don't auto negotiate , you may have to hard set them each side to bring them up/up , what sfps are you using glc-sx-mm

Hi 

Have you tried using speed auto? Also verify if you are using the same model of SFP, I remember that some 10G SFP slots support SFP of 1G.

If so, if you connect a gig SFP to 4500-x and to ASR1k, both sides should run at gig.
