I have a remote office with a unreliable MPLS connection to my data center.
I'm trying to active a backup link using a VPN on old Cisco 837 and a ADSL connection.
The ADSL connection with the Internet is OK, the VPN is OK , the HSRP is OK and the routing is OK.
Apparently everything is working fine until the MPLS circuit goes down and the HSRP on the 837 turns active.
After the HSRP turns active on the 837, the Dialer interface oddly goes down, dropping the Internet connection.
The Dialer interface only goes up again after the HSRP turns standby.
Here is the log when HSRP change the state to Active:

Does anyone knows what's wrong? Could be a configuration problem? A bug?
On the 837 the interface Ethernet0 is connected to the remote office LAN and the Ethernet2 is connected to a ISP bridge/modem. I'm not using the internal DSL port on the 837 because it does not support ADSL2+.
