Interface Dialer go down after HSRP turns "Active".

I have a remote office with a unreliable MPLS connection to my data center.

I'm trying to active a backup link using a VPN on old Cisco 837 and a ADSL connection.

The ADSL connection with the Internet is OK, the VPN is OK , the HSRP is OK and the routing is OK.

Apparently everything is working fine until the MPLS circuit goes down and the HSRP on the 837 turns active.

After the HSRP turns active on the 837, the Dialer interface oddly goes down, dropping the Internet connection.

The Dialer interface only goes up again after the HSRP turns standby.

Here is the log when HSRP change the state to Active:

%HSRP-6-STATECHANGE: Ethernet0 Grp 10 state Standby -> Active
%DIALER-6-UNBIND: Interface Vi1 unbound from profile Di1
%LINK-3-UPDOWN: Interface Virtual-Access1, changed state to down
%CRYPTO-6-EZVPN_CONNECTION_DOWN: (Client)  bla bla bla
%LINEPROTO-5-UPDOWN: Line protocol on Interface Virtual-Access1, changed state to down

Here is the log when HSRP change the state to Standby:

%HSRP-6-STATECHANGE: Ethernet0 Grp 10 state Active -> Speak
%DIALER-6-BIND: Interface Vi1 bound to profile Di1
%LINK-3-UPDOWN: Interface Virtual-Access1, changed state to up
%LINEPROTO-5-UPDOWN: Line protocol on Interface Virtual-Access1, changed state to up
%CRYPTO-6-EZVPN_CONNECTION_UP: (Client)  bla bla bla

Does anyone knows what's wrong? Could be a configuration problem? A bug?

On the 837 the interface Ethernet0 is connected to the remote office LAN and the Ethernet2 is connected to a ISP bridge/modem. I'm not using the internal DSL port on the 837 because it does not support ADSL2+.

The command “use-bia” under the Ethernet0 solved the problem. The 837 cannot handle 2 mac address (one for the interface itself and one for hsrp) on the same interface.
