Hi, since I replaced my switch with a Nexus3064 I have a problem with DWDM networks I connect to this one. when there is a fiber cut interface disconnects instantly and create a flap of 2 seconds. DWDM network need 200ms for change master circuit to slave one but nexus disconnect interface when dont see signal and create a problem.
I dont find any commands about this timer. Before we used a CCR0172 for router/switch these DWDM networks and never had this problem.
L2 provider tells me that need a hold timer in the interface for avoid instantly disconnection of interface.
Someone had this problem before?
thank you and good work.
here it the log about the interface

Not sure what is delivery MM or single mode here ? what SFP Model is this ? - Most cased up and down immediatly cause of wrong patch cables.
may be the command you looking check below : (not if that help).
To enable the debounce timer on an interface, use the link debounce command in the interface configuration mode. Use the no form of the command to set the link debounce timer to a default value of 100 milliseconds.
link debounce [link-up] [ time milliseconds ]
no link debounce [link-up] [ time milliseconds ]

Hello,
what configuration did you use on the CCR0172 ?
07-04-2022 03:36 AM
hi no config about the interface just 10G port with an ip on the vlan assign.
Provider tells me:
When there is an outage on spare or main route, fault there is triggering protection switch, so protection is working, but can not be set to revertive due to LOS respond from your ports, so the service will stay where it currently is.
The only way to trigger protection switch is to lockout spare route (say to system to not use it).
In summary, protection is working when fault will on main (will switch to spare) or on spare (will switch to main), but the service will stay there and can not manually or auto revert back to main unless spare will be locked, due to LOS from your ports.
Please, escalate this to your vendor to advise why your ports are ending LOS in case of sub 50ms flap due to protection switch.
They should be able to advise how to increase “carrier-delay down” time on your ports in order to not send LOS during protection switch (sub 50ms flaps).
thank you

- Check interface (error)-counters.

CRC errors can also manifest themselves as a non-zero “FCS-Err” counter in the output of show interface counters errors. The "Rcv-Err" counter in the output of this command will also have a non-zero value, which is the sum of all input errors (CRC or otherwise) received by the interface.
