Hello,

Is it possible to do an interface range with more than 5 comma on a catalyst 2960x?

Thanks in advance

Hi Alex,

I am afraid it won't be possible. I have tested a Catalyst 3560G and in the interface range command, I was able to use only 4 commas to separate 5 distinct subranges. As these Catalysts mostly run very similar IOSes, I am forced to believe that the behavior would be the same.

Best regards,
Peter

My experience, across different Cisco routers and switches, also has been interface range is limited to 4 commas (some devices requiring spaces around them, some not [usually older vs. newer IOS versions]).  I may have seen some difference on a Nexus, but don't quote me on that.
