In enterprise networks , do we use routingt protocols like eigrp or ospf for intervlan routing on distribution layer switches ?  or do we use static routing ?

Do we advertise VLAN info to core switches ? if so, is it done by vtp ?

Thanks,

Ajay

You dont really need eigrp unless you want to advertise routes to other routers. Please see the following link. It explains the concept really well
