Forum,

I searched for the model in the title so i could upgrade the IOS but when i search i always get back results that indicate "3750V-PS"  i am not able to get a match when i am trying to search for the latest MD release for this model switch.  Same results for a WS 3750G-24PS..what am i missing here.  I simply want to upgrade the code on these boxes.

Thanks,

Kevin

That's an end-of-life model - don't believe software for it, as that model, is obtainable from Cisco.

However, see Leo's last post in: https://community.cisco.com/t5/switching/port-set-to-gigabit-speed-2-cisco-3750-stacks-shuts-down/m-p/4553182#M518539

Officially, @Joseph W. Doherty is correct.  3750 and 3750G are already end-of-support.  This means all documents and firmware files have been removed from Cisco website.

Web search will always come back to the 3750v2 because it is "unofficially" correct.  The firmware for the 3750v2 is no different to the firmware for the 3750 and 3750G.

For 3750 (FastEthernet ports), download 12.2(55)SE12 and this will be supported on this model.

For the 3750G (GigabitEthernet ports), download 15.0(2)SE11 and it will work.

WARNING:  Do not make any attempt to load 15.0(2)SE11 into the 3750 because it will not work (not enough flash space).

I recall (?) very early 3750s came with 16MB flash, later ones with 32MB flash.  Further, recall (?) this applied to the 3750 (FE ports only) and possible also the 3750G (gig ports).

If so, I believe it's the 16MB variants you cannot upgrade to 15.x.

@Joseph W. Doherty
You are correct.  The original 3750 came with 16 Mb flash and the 3750G was 24 Mb flash.  16 Mb flash is enough for one IOS but, particularly, only up to 12.2(55)SE train.  3750, with 16 Mb flash, cannot load anything 15.0.

3750G has 24 Mb flash and can use IOS version up to 15.0(2)SE train.

3750v2, however, is a 3750 (FastEthernet port) but with 24 Mb flash.

Officially, 3750 & 3750G firmware can no longer be downloaded.  But, unofficially, the firmware for the 3750v2 is exactly the same one used by the 3750 & 3750G.

Also, the above unofficial method are omitted in 3750v2 Release Notes.
