Okay I have read various articles about how to do xmodem and I've done them before but the same process is not working for me or all the other articles out there.
Init_switch does not exist
I've set the baud rate to 11520 for faster download.
I am using secure crt
There is nothing in flash as I deleted it.
I issue the copy xmodem:flash: c3750-ipservicesk9-mz.122-50.SE4.bin
then I go to transfer and press send and locate the file and select it
Begin the Xmodem or Xmodem-1K transfer now...
CCC
Starting xmodem transfer. Press Ctrl+C to cancel.
Transferring c3750-ipservicesk9-mz.122-50.SE4.bin...
xmodem:: I/O error
and I get that error each and everytime.
PLEASE HELP!!!!!!

Try another terminal software, and/or reduce interface speed.

okay so I got it working but somehow the two versions of IOS was trying to upload had actually gotten all the data erased.
It was strictly an empty file with the name. 0kb. I found that to be quite odd.
Once I downloaded another version and tried it again it went through.

I've had the same issues with secureCRT and resolved it with one of the flow control settings under options, session options..
