IOS Server Load Balancing Function

I have couple questions:

1. Is IOS Server Load Balancing a basic functionality for both IOS 12.2 and 12.4?

2. If I want to run a server load balancing function on a switch, what is the entry switch model of switch series that I can start with?

Hello,

IOS SLB is supported in both the 12.2 and 12.4 versions.

Entry switch model for IOS SLB is Cat6500.
