IOS Update to enable SSH

Hi,

I have to update several Catalyst Switche to enable SSH. Most of them are C2960-8TC-L and C2950.

Currently running: flash:c2960-lanbase-mz.122-35.SE5/c2960-lanbase-mz.122-35.SE5.bin or c2950-i6q4l2-mz.121-22.EA4.bin

Which IOS is the right for SSH? And can i use the latest version?

When downloading from Cisco website, choose a file with "k9".  This means SSH is enabled.

latest you can download is this

c2960-lanbasek9-mz.150-2.SE10a.bin

recommended is

c2960-lanbasek9-mz.122-55.SE11.bin

The 2950 you cant download from Cisco website anymore its eol and removed

For the 2950 look for an image with "k2" in it's name - latest is 12.1(22)EA14 and you won't find it on Cisco's download site anymore, but you can google the image names and find various "repositories" online - for example I could find the .tar file here: http://117.6.72.24/archive/c2950-i6k2l2q4-tar.121-22.EA14.tar
