ios upgrade in 3825

Hi we have a router containing ios c3825-advipservicesk9-mz.124-22.T5.bin. In addition to regular router function, we also need its vpn function. now we want to upgrade its ios. Which version is best? Thank you

Hi,

The recommended IOS on Cisco's site is "c3825-adventerprisek9-mz.151-4.M12a.bin"

But before you upgrade, make sure to read the release notes carefully for any caveats that may effect your environment. Your system needs to have 512Mb DRAM and 128Mb Flash.

Please see the below two ios. New one has higher number, that means it is latest one. How about "T" and "M" in these two iso?

T is for train and M is for Mainline . You want the M version.

One of them is advanced IP services and the other one is advanced enterprise. So, look at the current image on the router and install the same type.
