Dan Coats

I've upgraded from IOS-XE 3.6 to Denali 16.3 and the interface level "nmsp attachment suppress" command is not available (the upgrade removed it from the config) the documentation says it should be available.

This command (nmsp attachment suppress) is removed from 16.x releases. There was documentation error in configuration guide which points this old information.

Is there any specific reason you need this command or do you want to disable device tracking?
