Ip Address Conflict with Router Intertace

Hi,

I am having this strange issue.

The scenario is like this

Have 2 routers connected to two different ISP's and have different subnets.

When iam trying to give one of the WAN ip address of range of suppose router B to my pc it is giving ip address conflict with some mac address. When I searched, i found that the mac address is of one of the interface of router A . I tried giving other ip address in same Router B WAN range and still it is giving same error.

There is no physical connectivity between two routers , they are connected by switch.

Can anyone put some light on this matter.

Your help will be highly appreciated.

This may be enough a LAN switch is used to provide connectivity between different devices: if the switch ports are in the same Vlan ( same working group) the two routers can see each other and they may be sharing a common IP subnet.

You should give an IP address of the internal / LAN side of  the router  to your PC, otherwise you are bypassing the router itself!

The router should be configured for NAT ( Network Address Translation) in order to allow internet access to internal users

It was working fine since long time, but now iam getting this issue. Any Public Ip address in the range of Router B iam trying to give it shows Ip address conflict with the mac address of the Router A port connected to Switch. I tried connecting the different router A port to switch and again i got same ip address conflict msg with the port connected to switch.

Any idea?
