I have one 3550 configured with serveral vlans. ip routing is setup between all vlans. I have a windows 2003 dhcp server which I want to serve all vlans.
the server is in vlan 1010 with IP 10.10.10.2. problem is only the client that's in the same vlan is able to receive an address. I also have clients in vlan 1020 and 1030.
I've double-checked the config on the DHCP server. Each scope has it's respective VLAN IP configured as the gateway.
when I turn on debug IP UDP, then relese /renew the affected client(s), I see UDP 67/68 packets, but that's all.

problem solved, I had to issue the 'service dhcp' command
... it's always the simple stuff that kills you!
