IP PIM routing issues when applied to existing eigrp environment

After enabling PIM on c3850, hosts beyond its L3 EtherChannel peer (c7200) were not reachable anymore via EIGRP, although EIGRP route was looking ok.
c3850 (EIGRP A10) ==L3 EtherChan*==c7200(EIRGP AS10)....
*Mode ON - only supported mode at c7200
