Hiii Team,

Maybe it's a simple question, can i use network 172.15.1.0 on class B  to assign private addresses?? for examle: 172.15.1.1- 40

Could you?  Yes.

Should you?  No.

172.15.x.x is public address space.  If you were to use it, you need to insure you wouldn't leak it to the Internet (likely won't).  But, you'll likely make it impossible to reach those public IP addresses, assuming you have or want Internet access.

The private Class B address space is:

172.16.0.0 - 172.31.255.255 (172.16/12 prefix)

Hello Fadi,

The range 172.15.x.x does not belong to any private IP range. It is conceivable that the IP addresses within this range are used publicly. Therefore, you should not use these addresses until you have been legally assigned them by your provider or by an address authority.
