IP source address of tacacs !

Hi all experts.

I have configured the following command on one router

ip tacacs source-interface Fas0/0

interface fast 0/0

ip address 10.1.8.1 255.255.255.0

But for some reason, i had to configure another primary address, making above IP to be secondary

interface fas0/0

ip address 192.168.1.1 255.255.255.252

ip address 10.1.8.1 255.255.255.0 sec

Now is there any way that makes me able to still source the packets from 10.1.8.1 ?

Is there any workaround for this ?

On a router I much prefer to source TACACS from a /32 loopback specifically to avoid these issues.
