1. How many addresses do you need to assign? Why?

2. Choose the largest possible private addresses for this network. No need for subnetting.

3. Choose the smallest possible public addresses for this network. No need for subnetting.

4. Suppose that subnetting is used, with a private, class B address and /24 mask. How many subnets are needed?

Hi,

1) one for each PC-->4 + one for each router LAN interface --->2 + one for each router serial interface ---> 2 which makes 4+2+2=8 addresses

2) 192.168.1.0/24 and 192.168.2.0/24

3) you could use a /30 or a /31

4)2

5)172.16.0.0/24 and 172.16.1.0/24

6) test it on Packet Tracer, you'll see connected routes( and L routes on newer IOSes) and any static route configured

Hi,

if you want to manage those with telnet/ssh yes you must but it is not mandatory if you manage them from the console.
