IPv6 BFD-BGP problems

I'm having issues running BFD between a Cisco 6509-E and a F5 Load-balancer.

I do not understand why its using the standby ip address when I configured it for the local address? It does not do this behavior with the ipv4 address?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
