The device tracking database and IP verify source isn’t working, everything says its configured correctly but.

You can apply the policy but there is not output from it.

can you confirm the below details

  • What switch model are you working with? (e.g., Catalyst 9300, 3850, 2960-X, etc.)
  • What IOS/IOS-XE version is running?

the possible root cause for this issue

 

  • DHCP snooping not enabled (prerequisite)
  • Tracking policy not attached to interfaces
  • No DHCP traffic processed yet
