If the IP Base and security licences are activated on the ISR2921, is it advisable to increase the memory and flash above the default?

Is the Cisco Security Manager a free download or do you have to purchase the application?

Depends on the funding.  

I'd always configure maximum allowable DRAM.  

I believe 2921 has two CF ports and port 1 is empty.

We are also thinking of using a pair of these routers to provide first hop redundany. Again, it is difficult to decide as I'm not able to find the router performance figures. Are any of the available modules able to boost the route processor performance?

Would you happen to know the performance figures for the 2921?

Latency at 100 & 1000 Mbps, throughput, switching capacity, router table size, maximum mac listing and processor size?
