Hi,

I have upgraded from s72033-adventerprisek9_wan-mz.122-33.SXH3a.bin to s72033-advipservicesk9_wan-mz.122-33.SXI7.bin.

the problem is:

1) when i do sh bootvar after reload then i se,

BOOT variable = sup-bootdisk:sup-bootdisk:s72033-adventerprisek9_wan-mz.122-33.SXH3a.bin,1; ---->  OLD IMAGE

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

2)  when i do sh version after reload then i see,

System image file is "sup-bootdisk:s72033-advipservicesk9_wan-mz.122-33.SXI7.bin" ---->  NEW IMAGE

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

3) when i do power off and on then it goes to rommon mode

and then i have to configure:  boot bootdisk:sup-bootdisk:s72033-advipservicesk9_wan-mz.122-33.SXI7.bin

but the situation is same. it shows old image in bootvar and new image in show version.  output is below.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

again i configured boot system flash as below.

after saving configuration the show bootvar is,

BOOT variable = sup-bootdisk:s72033-advipservicesk9_wan-mz.122-33.SXI7.bin,1;sup-bootdisk:s72033-adventerprisek9_wan-mz.122-33.SXH3a.bin,1;

CONFIG_FILE variable =

BOOTLDR variable =

Configuration register is 0x2102

Standby not ready to show bootvar

then i reloaded and what the image in bootvar is only old image, and in show version is with new image.

i do not know what is happening.

boot config:-----

boot system flash sup-bootdisk:s72033-advipservicesk9_wan-mz.122-33.SXI7.bin  ------> NEW IMAGE

boot system flash sup-bootdisk:s72033-adventerprisek9_wan-mz.122-33.SXH3a.bin -----> OLD IMAGE

Can you please post the output to the following commands:

1.  dir sup-bootflash:

2.  sh run | b boot-start-marker

I can not provide full configuration.

SWITCH#sh run | b boot-start-marker

boot-start-marker

boot system flash sup-bootdisk:s72033-advipservicesk9_wan-mz.122-33.SXI7.bin
