As it is not practicle feasible migrate all system of one VLAN to jumbo at ones, how can we ensure the jumbo activated systems still work correctly with other system on the same Vlan using standard MTU?
If a frame gets forwared from an interface that supports jumbo frames to an interface on the same switch in the VLAN that does not support jumbo frames the switch drops the frame the frame becasue it can send only frames of the allowed size out of the egres interface. So make sure that all interfaces that are communicating within a VLAN have jumbo frame support enabled.
