Just failed CCNP TSHOOT 300-135 test - Based on the results, what should I focus on for next try?

Hi Everyone,

I just failed the 300-135 with a score of 795 (needed 846 minimum). I don't mean to dispute the results but I want to share my concern. Roughly 70% of the questions were labs where you had to run some "show" commands and understand what the problem was and then answer based on your diagnosis, only one of them actually required you to take action and solve the problem (and I assure you I did, the output required was achieved). In this section I am confident I did a pretty good job. With the exception of one lab where one of the answers that I chose didn't make much sense but I had to keep going cause I was running out of time.

The remaining of the test were multiple choice and drag and drop. Here is where I may have failed. More than one question was related to deep GRE theory and some items that I prefer not to mention for the sake of protecting the test, however even though I hadn't studied for these questions, I am sure at least one of the multiple choices I selected were correct. Nevertheless, I did answer ALL the questions. After I got my results at the front desk, this is what threw me off:

Network Principles: 67%

Layer 2 Technologies: 100%

Layer 3 Technologies: 71%

VPN Technologies: 33%

Infrastructure Security: 0%

Infrastructure Services: 0%

I don't see possible that I got 0% on two of the 6 sections of the test. It even looks like some questions were uploaded unanswered. Is there any way make sure that every answer was uploaded to the system?

Neverthless, based on the explanation above. What can I do to improve my performance with regards to Infrastructure Security and Infrastructure Services?

Best Regards

Daniel

hi,

i'm sorry to hear you failed the exam. you can dispute the exam result and raise your concern to cert support:

https://ciscocert.secure.force.com/english/MainPage

i had a work colleague who failed his CCNP SWITCH this year and re-booked the following month and sure enough he PASSED.

you should focus and do more labs not only on the topics which you had 0% but on other "weak" areas or subjects as well.

you might want to re-visit the exam blueprint/topics and Cisco white papers for those 0% topics.

https://www.cisco.com/c/dam/en_us/training-events/exams/docs/300-135_tshoot.pdf

study them and do labs and book the exam within a month or two (depending on you) while the other topics are still fresh in your head.

Thank you so much! this is VERY helpful. Well it is interesting that I got no questions whatsoever regarding infrastructure security!. With regards to infrastructure services, during the labs I had to troubleshoot dhcp relay agent (which I did correctly) and a NAT issue which I also did right...

Weird, I opened a case with cert support just to confirm that all the questions were answered!

Best Regards

Daniel

I sometimes think how Realexamdumps responds and answers the queries of the students so patiently. I have experienced by downloading 300-135 dumps from this site. It was so cooperative learning platform which helped me to pass my certification by the first attempt. I will say thanks for providing stuff in PDF form which was so helpful in studying generously and with more focus. I appreciate the effort done by the whole team of well reputed experts and say thanks for offering 300-135 dumps.

Dumps are against Cisco terms and conditions. If they have reason to think you got your cert fraudulently, they can pull it and prevent you from certing ever again.

Beyond that, you pass the test but you don't have the knowledge. Once your network crashes and your boss tells you to fix it, and you can't, you'll be discovered to be a fraud.

The true power of the cert is knowing you earned it and have the confidence to fix your network when problems arise.

I read the whole book and ran all the labs I found, I focused on the questions I failed in the test and tried again with no nuggets and passed. I would never try to certify if I am not confident that I know the material.
