The problem is with the speed you configured when you opened the COM port in your PC... try different speeds that match the one configured at the console port of your switch maybe 115200, 9600, 19200, 57600...that will fix it.

Hello,

for default, this switch's model uses 9600 baud value:

• 9600 baud
• 8 data bits
• 1 stop bit
• No parity

Do you have another console cable?
