Kron

Is Kron capable of dropping in commands in config mode?  So far, I havn't been able to get this to work.  I basically want to drop in a static route at a certain time, then remove it at another time.

kron policy-list LAB-STORAGE-CONFIG

cli configure terminal

cli ip route 7.7.7.7 255.255.255.255 8.8.8.8 name LAB-STORAGE

cli exit

!

kron occurrence LAB-STORAGE-CONFIG at 16:00 recurring

policy-list LAB-STORAGE-CONFIG

!

!

kron policy-list LAB-STORAGE-REMOVE

cli configure terminal

cli no ip route 7.7.7.7 255.255.255.255 8.8.8.8 name LAB-STORAGE

cli exit

Hi,

I think kron only accepts exec mode command but not config ones but you can do it with EEM or a TCL script.
