Kindly;examine the attachment:

i want etherchannel to load balance across 4 links..EXPERT'S What is ur Suggestion here L3 OR L2 Link between Site 1 & site 2;if so why ?

What you are asking that is not clear.

Etherchannel you can create between L3 and L2 switch.

Please look into attached document.

You can use the same socument to create Etherchannel also.

If still you are not able to reach solution.

Please tell me what you want to do?

What you want to understand?

What are devices you have?

IOS version no.

If you would change configuration, give me existing configurations.

Yes,

For Etherchannel.. You are not playing with L3. Please keep in mind.

In aspect of Performance 6509.... it does differant than other lower level switches cause of memory and processer.

But if you would get good etherchannel advantage... 3550 is pretty good switch. why r u going for 6509??

6509 we are prefering for MSFC or VPN module or get more uplinks .... etc .... etc.

If you have existing.... it is OK.
