Hi Team,
I have one ISP link terminated in switch. Switch model is WS-C3560G-24PS.
interface GigabitEthernet0/24
no switchport
ip address 127.1.1.1238 255.255.255.252 Changed the IP.
Default Route to
ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 127.1.1.237.
Network work normally and once in a month it stops working. we are able to gateway with out any issue. So i suspect WAN interface is getting hang.
When i just shut and unshut the WAN interface then traffic start flowing or if i ping gateway from my 3560 switch also it resolves the issue.
interface Vlan1
ip address 129.1.1.2 255.255.255.192

What software version are you running?
If you can ping the default gateway and it starts working it is not likely to be a hung interface.
I would be interested in the "show arp" entry for 127.1.1.237 when it is working, and while it is broken.
Also I would be tempted to add the following on GigabitEthernet0/24:
no ip redirects
no ip unreachables
no ip proxy-arp

Does anything interesting appear in the switch log when it is broken?
