Hello Everyone. I'm currently learning Networking and at beginner level. I am working on a project from one of my instructors guide. Im kind of stuck at configuring WLC. I figured out Im not able to ping from the Layer 3 SW when the link between these two is configured as trunk but it works perfectly fine when configured as access port and when allowed vlan 60. I tried to find out where did I make the problem. ? I have attached the Packet Tracer File with this and the Project Document inside the zip folder. Please Guide me. Thank you so much

You need to start with the interface in access. You need to be able to ping the WLC from one PC. You can use this same PC, open its browser and fire up the WLC´s IP address on the browser, You need to get to the WLC web interface.
There will be a wizard. At the end of this wizard, you will be asked for vlan ID, leave it as zero, which means all vlans.
The WLC will start spinning for quite some time. When you get access to the web interface, finish the configuration accordingly.
One tip related to WLC. The AP can work in two ways, you may know that already: Flexconnect and Local mode
If you opt for Flexconnect, you dont need trunk between the WLC and the Core. You can leave it as access and all the traffic will be handled on the Management interface.
If you opt for local mode, you need trunk between the WLC and core and each SSID will be one vlan on the core.
I believe your WLC is not ok. I can not get to the web interface so I am suggesting to you replace the WLC. Use one 3504 instead.

Thank you so much for pointing out changing the WLC to WLC 2504. It worked afterwards, and I was able to fire up to the WLC's management IP address and have all the wireless devices connected to it. Thanks again.
