Layer-3 ports on N5k?

Hi folks, we are deploying Nexus 5k in our infrastructure and will be recieving the layer-3 daughter cards shortly to enable the layer-3 functionality on them. Once they are installed, i believe i will be able to convert my physical ethernet ports to layer 3 routed ports? Is there any limit on the no. of layer 3 ports? ... Please advise...Thanks.

Hi,

No there is no limit.  This daughter card provides up to 160 Gbps of  Layer 3 forwarding capability (240 million packets per second [mpps])  that can be shared by all 48 ports in the chassis.
