Hi Dears,
I am Saravanan, working as a network engineer. In one of my customer have 4Mbps Internet, They have 4 vlan groups. Now current setup is Sharing the 4 mbps Internet to every body, but they want to limit the bandwidth in vlan groupwise.
Consider Vlan 1 in 192.168.10.0 /24
Vlan 2 in 192.168.15.0/24
Vlan 3 in 192.168.20.0/24
Vlan 4 in 192.168.21.0/25.
I want to give more bandwidth in vlan 4, around 2mbps, remaining 2mbps should share to all.
I have cisco 4503 as L3 switch and i have MPLs connection to connect to another location.
This limitation of bandwidth should occur only in using of Internet not for LAN or Intranet.
202.X.X.233 202.X.X.234 192.168.10.2 10.4 192.168.10.1
ISP link -------------> Firewall (Checkpoint) ----------> Proxy server -----------> Cisco 4503 -------> distribute in to 4 vlan.
please give a valuable reply.
Thanks for you spend your valuable time.
