Hello,
I'm wondering if I can set up etherchannel between 1 Gig port and 1Ten? normally on auto negotiation mode it will be failure of course, but what if I will downgrade speed of 1T to 1000Mb hardcoded? Is it possible to have running etherchannel on this setup?
Best regards, Michal

Rule #1 on EtherChannel: All links must have the same speed.

Hi Michal,
Agree with Leo..
You can't use port with different speeds in the ether-channel , either all has to be 1 gig or 10 gig. If you have multiple ports then configure two different etherchannel..
It is unsupported because you just making all these individual links into one logical bundle , all should have similar capabilities in order to work as one logical connection .
Hope it Helps..

Hi,
I know this rule #1 related to port speed. that is why I'm here.
Both ports will be hardcoded in speed 1000, so theoretically they will be running on the same speed.
Will be this portchannel established?

Michal
