Hi community,
I want to know if there will be any compatibility risk or issues to connect 2 microSCADA devices to an IE-9320-24P4X using L2 links for further routing.
Thank you in advance.

hello J. Yes, you can connect two MicroSCADA devices to a Cisco IE-9320-24p4x/ using Layer 2 links without compatibility issues, as long as: The interfaces are speed-compatible (1G/100M). VLANs (if used) are configured correctly. Industrial protocols (IEC 61850, DNP3) are transparently forwarded, and PoE requirements.
So, the IE-9320 is built for industrial use and should handle SCADA traffic over L2 links reliably....
