I'm all new to MDS switches, and I can't figure this out, and would like some configuration help.
We have 2 MDS switches, a 9124 and a 9148, with a TE trunk between them. But my problem is that I would like an ESX server on the 9124 to see a SAN storage on the 9148. I have tried to figure this out, but I dunno how to configure it?
Both switches are only running with VSAN 1, but right now with 2 different zones.
What do I have to configure, to make the 2 switches merge their zones, and see each others devices?
The link between the 2 switches goes from 9148 fc1/16 - 9124 fc1/3, and further more there is an ESX server on 9124 fc1/1 and an ESX server on 9148 fc1/6.
If anyone could tell me how to configure this correctly, I would be grateful!
