Hello,
I'm running a 6506 switch that ran into a memory leak issue causing it to deny access to NVRAM. The obvious answre from TAC was to upgrade the switch to a new version of the same train. The problem is I don't have access to NVRAM, so I can't save the config. I wanted to make the switch pull the config from other location (TFTP or flash) after the reboot using confreg, but unfortunately I couldn't find the confreg that would do that.
Any idea?

Alex,
You could try this procedure:

John,
That's not exactly what I'm looking for. There's a good chance I'm not going to have console access to the switch, so any manipulations in ROMMON are not an option. I need to do it using confreg setting only.
