DO this:

1.  Command:  test cable tdr interface Gi1/0/16;

2.  Wait for approximately 5 to 7 seconds;

3.  Command:  sh cable tdr interface Gi 1/0/16; and

4.  Post the output to #3.

switch#sh cable-diagnostics tdr interface gigabitEthernet 1/0/16

TDR test last run on: February 20 11:42:01

Interface Speed Local pair Pair length        Remote pair Pair status

--------- ----- ---------- ------------------ ----------- --------------------

Gi1/0/16  auto  Pair A     30   +/- 10 meters N/A         Short/Crosstalk

                Pair B     30   +/- 10 meters N/A         Short/Crosstalk

                Pair C     30   +/- 10 meters N/A         Open

                Pair D     30   +/- 10 meters N/A         Short/Crosstalk

OMFG!

Where did you get your cable from????  THROW IT AWAY.

For PoE you need all the result to be "NORMAL".  A result of "Short" is bad.  A result of "Crosstalk" is worst!

ok, will do that.
