MAC address learning of a switch for a Vitual Machine inside the physical server

Hi All,

I would like to know more about the MAC address learning of a switch if a Vitual Machine inside server
connected to a switch port.

I'm experiancing an Network issue for a Virtual system inside the ESX system, I could not find  the
MAC address of a Virtual machine leraned on the switch port.

Can anybody help me to understand more about how the switch learns the MAC address of a
Virtual Machine inside the physical server and how can I isolate the connectivity issue
in this scenario.
